Due to increased commitments on the farm we will unfortunately be ceasing to do bed and breakfast from the end of June and are no longer taking bookings. We would like to thank all our guests for their support over the last seven years - we have thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many different people and welcoming them to the farm.

There’s always a warm welcome, a pot of tea and home made biscuits awaiting you, when you arrive on our working arable and livestock farm in South West Lancashire. Our four star rated bed and breakfast is near Ormskirk and Formby and within easy reach of Liverpool and Southport providing the ideal location whether you are staying for business or leisure.
From the moment you step through the door, you will be able to experience the comfortable and quiet surroundings of the four star rated, ivy covered, historic farmhouse, parts of which date back to 1685.
We have two rooms available, both of which have en suite facilities, colour TV with Freeview, cd player, radio alarm, tea/coffee making trays and a hairdryer. Keys are also available for guests who wish to return late at night.
Double Room - ‘Garden View’
Overlooking the garden, this large bedroom is situated on the ground floor. It contains a king size bed and has en-suite toilet and shower room. There is a comfortable seating area with two easy chairs, so that you can relax and unwind after a busy day. Self contained at the end of the farmhouse, it makes an ideal retreat.
Double/Twin Room - ‘Meadow View’
This country style bedroom is situated in the end wing of the farmhouse and overlooks the fields. It contains a king size and a single bed. The room has a large bathroom with bath and is completely self contained and private from the rest of the house. There is also a guest lounge downstairs for your own, private use in the evening, so that you can sit back, relax and watch TV or the wildlife in the garden..
When you awake you can enjoy an excellent farmhouse breakfast (which has received an AA Breakfast Award), made using fresh, local produce from nearby farms. Local, dry cured bacon, succulent hand made sausages, free range eggs from our own hens (when they choose to lay!) and home made lemon curd and jams with fresh, warm scotch pancakes are just some of the delicious treats on offer. We can also cater for gluten free/wheat free diets.
Our unique location, out in the country, but only 25 mins from the centres of Liverpool and Preston, 15 mins from Southport and 10 minutes from Ormskirk and Formby, means that you can enjoy the peace of a rural setting in the knowledge that city facilities are not very far away.
Goose Meadow is a strictly no smoking establishment. We have ample private parking and secure storage for bicycles..
There are excellent pubs and restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away, and one of the oldest pubs in Lancashire within walking distance, so you will never be short of somewhere to dine, or take a leisurely evening drink.
