How to find us
From
Liverpool:
Take the A59 to Maghull. At the first
roundabout after Maghull, take the first exit, signed Lydiate. Take the
first right and follow road to a t-junction by the Weld Blundell Pub. Turn
left and immediately right. Go over canal bridge and after 1/2 mile turn
left into Punnells Lane. At the bottom of the lane turn right. Entrance to
Goose Meadow B&B is 10 metres on left.
From Preston/Ormskirk.
Take the A59 to Ormskirk.
After Ormskirk at the 2nd roundabout on the dual carriageway take the 3rd
exit, signed Lydiate. Take the first right and follow road to a t-junction
by the Weld Blundell Pub. Turn left and immediately right. Go over canal
bridge and after 1/2 mile turn left into Punnells Lane. At the bottom of the
lane turn right. Entrance to Goose Meadow B&B is 10 metres on left.
From M6
Exit junction 26 onto the
M58. Exit junction 1 to Maghull. Take 2nd exit at the roundabout and then
the 1st right, just past Ashworth Hospital. At the traffic lights turn right
onto the A59. At the roundabout take the first exit to Lydiate. Take the
first right and follow road to a t-junction by the Weld Blundell Pub. Turn
left and immediately right. Go over canal bridge and after 1/2 mile turn
left into Punnells Lane. At the bottom of the lane turn right. Entrance to
Goose Meadow B&B is 10 metres on left.
From Southport:
Take the A570, then the
A5147 through Halsall. After about 4 miles take the B5195 towards Formby (by
the Scarisbrick Arms Pub). After about one and a half miles turn left into
Acres Lane (on right angle bend). Goose Meadow is the first farmhouse 1 mile
on right hand side.
Goose Meadow B&B is located at the point just above the letter 't' of Lydiate
