Simon and Lisa Edwards welcome you to our small corner of South West Lancashire, where we live on a mixed  arable and livestock farm.

For over 50 years the Edwards family have been tenants on the Leverhulme Estate in Altcar, after Simon's grandfather, Bruce, first moved to Gore House Farm in 1949.

 We are the third generation to farm here, with the name 'Goose Meadow' being taken from the name of a field on the farm,  reflecting the fact that thousands of geese overwinter here.

If you are looking for bed and breakfast in Ormskirk, Formby, Maghull or near Southport and Liverpool then we offer a country retreat conveniently situated midway between them all.
